2001 Forester S 2.5l 5MT $1500 (mechanics special)

Hey mechanics,
I have a 2001 Forester S 2.5l AWD 5spd for sale. ~200k miles. She is in great condition. Runs and drives, but needs a new transmission. The current transmission needs so many new parts that it is just better off getting replaced by a better condition used one.

Located in Stillwater, MN

Engine is strong, sounds good, no hesitation or CEL's when I started it up earlier this week. Nothing leaking as far as I can tell. It seems to have been maintained regularly by all previous owners.
Exterior isn't the best, but also isn't the worst. I would rate it as a 5/10. There are scuffs on both bumper covers, a few dings and scratches in the doors, but nothing too noticeable. Minimal Minnesota rust, just starting to bubble the littlest bit in the rear quarters.

Interior is ridiculously clean for the age and mileage of this car. Brown on tan, too

AS IS, I am looking for $1500. If I do the transmission myself, it will be on the market for $4000. Currently I have 1 too many projects that need to be dealt with, so this one should probably go. My loss is your gain.
