spill the beans. its too bad you wanna sell. that was a sweet car. you could still do the TW 200 WHP mods. make it a monster. Good luck w/ the sale
I have a few choices: ---2006 black WRX TR. Some of the dno info coming out on them is extremely promising. ---2003 Evolution 8 Its cheap and fast, questionable maintenace and durability ---2004 STi High mileage (40k) and bone stock. In a color I don't want, with the color wheels I don't want. ---2003 Z Track package Has a flywheel, titanium exhast and EM as well as some nice volks w/ R comps. Tempting but too small Right now, i'm probably going to go w/ the WRX TR, downpipe, catback, up-pipe and Accessport. I'll add Konis and Ground controls hopefully the day I get the car.
Damn dude I thought you would never get rid of that car!!! Good luck with the sell and I cant wait to see what your gonna do in the future!
Holden's looking to sell his Z? Geez... he must have taken steve kicking his butt in his own car a little too hard.
I'll have enough money so that I dont need to sell the RS in order to buy the WRX once i sell my house, so I am not sure whther or not i'd part it out, as i dont really want to trade it in. If it parted it out, i'd keep the swaybars, endlinks, pulley, strut tower braces and sell the struts and springs and top hats.
i would like to take a look at your rims/tires too if mndude decides not to. oh yeah, would they fit on my 98rs?
I already called dibs on the sways, remember zak? Gotta help a fellow autocrosser out man. from talking to him friday though, i don't think there's going to be a part out. most of it will probably wind up on a WRX.
hey hey hey. A new evo wouldn't be that bad, just change the timing belts at 60K, and the keep up with the regular maintenance... and it'd be good. DSMs on the other hand, are piles of crap that fall apart all the time. Can be quick tho
My DSM has been running VERY reliable in the two years I've owned her. Only broke down once because I was a n00b at the time.
I traded it to a private seller who may or may not part it out. Not sure on that one yet. If he does he can do it here, as it is a member. We're going to exchange cars tomorrow and barring any reason either one of us can think of to not trade we're signing them over and driving them back home. I know you're wondering, so I'll say it: It's the yellow version 5 WRX
