I am considering selling my Sebring Silver S2000. It is a completely stock/unmodified southern car which has only seen two trips in snow in it's life (and was washed thoroughly after both). I brought the car to Minnesota from Atlanta last Spring. I have put roughly 8,000 trouble free miles on it (it's a Honda!). The total now is just over 100K. I do not have a great need to sell, but I have the Subaru bug at the moment and just can not justify buying another car without selling one first. The price is pretty low given the season and the couple small things it could use. If it does not sell soon I will probably hold on to it or add a couple grand to the price in the spring.

The negatives: Two small (LOW SPEED) collisions in it's past. The front and rear bumper skins have been replaced. The paint match is ok, but not perfect. Fitment is great. These are reported in the car fax. The front bumper has a 1/2" hole in the lower portion from a rogue 3/8" socket extension. It is low enough it is not easily noticed, but is annoying when you look for it. Top should be replaced next spring due to several tears. These have been stitched and do not leak, but it is sub-par aesthetically. Rear tires are due for replacement. A few door dings and small scratches which can be expected in a 10 year old car. Factory tool kit does not come with the car.

The positives: Steering and suspension are very tight. Recent maintenance performed (oil, air filter, spark plugs, transmission fluid, diff fluid [pretty sure I did that one], new clutch master [the old one started bleeding pressure slowly], cleaned IAC). Heat, AC, Rear Defrost, Cruise, etc all work great. Black interior is in pretty good shape. Aftermarket head unit with Ipod control. Custom 3/4 wind deflector and headrest inserts (really nice with the top down!).

This is an unmolested S2000 at a good price. I am open to offers, but I started low to avoid haggling. Willing to take partial trade for a Subaru Forester. Not more than ~40% of the value of the S2K. I mostly prefer cash to put towards the vehicle of my choice and associated upgrades. Please call Sean at 651 - tree19 - 190tree.

My apologies for the awful photos. All I could find was a bad cell phone shot and a couple from when I thought there was going to be hail and I didn't have a car cover. Rainbow S2000!

My apologies. I copied the ad over from craigslist which had the price in the title. I am asking $10,000.

Friend is interested, but wants to know how hard is it to convert it to a hard top cover? just a matter of buying the cover or is there more?

You can simply buy the hard top and latches. They go on and off quickly. There are a few designs. Oem, Mugen, Mooncraft and possibly others. The knock off Mugen ones can be had relatively cheap and look good.

I managed to get home just a hair before sunset and snap a few photos. They are grainy and not perfectly crisp due to the 1600iso and shutter speed of 10, but they are better than the previous pictures. At least they are high resolution so people can judge the condition for themselves.

I also remembered that the hood has a slight bend at the tip which is visible in the pictures. A couple other "marks" you can see are tree sap that I have not had the time to clean off not permanent blemishes.
