I know this is no Subaru but I'm trying to help my sister out... On a positive note the reason I'm selling this is because she did BUY a Subaru Not to knock my sister too much but the car does have a few dents and scratches so its definitely not perfect. I used the car for a while to go to and from work which is 100+ miles a day and it worked great. Nice and smooth and just easy to drive. What we have is a 2002 Volkswagen Golf GLS -Aprox 89,000 miles - Automatic transmission -power locks and windows -Sunroof -JVC Radio deck with Aux hook up for an ipod -6 disc changer in the trunk -Brakes replaced August of 2012. (Only 5,000 miles on the car since then) -New Battery at the beginning of this winter season - New thermostat ** As a disclaimer, shortly after we bought the car the airbag light came on. After visiting the dealer, they stated that the sensor in the passenger A-piller was throwing an error code. The dealer stated the the code will not effect the airbags ability to deploy and that its a somewhat common problem in the Golfs...** Cant speak for this because I dont know VW's as well but I did make sure the dealer verified the issue. They said if we wanted to fix the issue we had to replace some sensor and it was way too expensive if all it was going to do was turn the airbag light off. Please shoot me a PM if you have more questions or want more pics or just want to take it for a spin. Right now I'm asking $5,250 but I'm willing to negotiate with Mnsubaru members or anyone that comes with a reference from mnsubaru. Thanks for looking
