2002 WRX for sale - 105,000 original miles

I bought it as a car to work on and play with from Subaru dealership in Texas.. and had it shipped up here as I wanted an older car without rust. This one is rust free. Previous owner was a tool and had some mods done, had it lowered on coilovers (which I just had raised today to a respectable drive height but not reflected in the pictures) and some obnoxious aftermarket exhaust.

I'm not a car guy and would like to be; I thought this would be a good place to start. Literally got it shipped in this week and my wife is unhappy. The engine/tranny are strong with no problems. Wheels are probably ebay knockoffs and there's an aftermarket scoop. Plastidip on front. Have carfax, clean title.

In any case, below are images of it. I've included the list of things the dealership stated would need done. I have the inspection sheet and carfax the dealership sent me that I can show as well.

- Valve Cover Gaskets have minor leak
- CV boot slightly leaking
- will need an alignment
- will eventually need front brakes
- shifter needs bushings, shifts fine but loose
- will need washer fluid cap
- needs wheel well lining... cause of the idiot previous owner slamming it to the ground

If it doesn't sell, I'll swap out the coilovers for OEM suspension, get a quieter exhaust, and sort of slowly work my way from there. I really hate the obnoxious exhaust.You can probably tell me more should you look at it. It was supposed to be my first foray into playing with vehicles. I wish I could answer more about the car but like I said, I'm new to this whole thing and my wife is quite unhappy. She's right that the extra money should go to school payments and not toys.

I'm respectfully negotiable. Lower miles, rust free, clean car, just needs a little bit of work. PM offers and questions and I'll do my best, literally have had it for two days this week. Really, the title comes in the mail tomorrow (2/28).

 

I meant to say clean car, not clean title. Lien on it to be paid off at bank when sold.

 

Didnt you just buy this? or am i thinking of someone else that posted about raising this subaru back up to OEM height?

 

Sure did. And my wife is unhappy now. Had the guys at RS raise up to OEM height and peek around. Like I said, I'll either keep it and work slowly to fix the issues in between school payments and deal with the unhappy wife, or be a better husband and acknowledge my financial mistakes.

 

Good deal! it looks like it was tuned by AWD Tuning. They're some of the best in the biz in case anyone is wondering.
