    2003 WRX Wagon
    Sonic Yellow
    148,xxx miles
    5 speed
2nd owner (previous owner was "sonic_boost_wagon" on nasioc)
    Non-smoker (as was previous owner)
    No rust

    $6250

I bought the car in May 2009 with about 93,xxx miles. It was my daily driver, used mostly for commuting to downtown St Paul and now Mpls.

I rallycrossed it once and attended one Audi club winter driving event.

I've really enjoyed this car and I'm a little reluctant to sell it but I'm told it's time to own a "normal looking" car.

    Located in Shoreview/Arden Hills area.

    The bad stuff:
    • Small dent on passenger front fender (visible in pictures)
    • Misc scratches and dings
    • Bumpers are a bit faded compared to the body (common for sonic yellow)
    • Front bumper has rock chips
    • Have not done the fuel line recall yet.
    • The clear coat is peeling on the grille and hood scoop. They're aftermarket and were painted separately by the previous owner. I'll include the stock grille and hood scoop which are in good shape.
    • Windshield has a chip that was repaired.
    • The driver's side rear child seat anchor is missing (the ones way in the back). I put it in my wife's old Impreza because her car didn't have them, then forgot to swap it back when I sold her car.
    • The antenna won't extend, I never really used it and it seems to be stuck in there now.
    Engine:
    • Catless uppipe
    • Catted (hiflow) downpipe
    • Stock 06 WRX catback
    • Mishimoto radiator
    • Perrin intercooler y-pipe.
    • GM Boost control solenoid
    • Tuned in 2009 by RS Motors. Previous owner ran a Cobb stage2 tune since about 30,xxx miles.
    • Turbo timer (not needed but never bothered to remove it, works)
    • Timing belt, idlers, tensioner, water pump, clutch, valve adjustment all done at about 98k miles
    • Used Rotella T6 for all oil changes
    Exterior:
    • STI grille and scoop (clear coat is peeling on these)
    • Stock grille and scoop included
    • Hella horns (painted black)
    • Rallyarmor mudflaps
    • Trailer hitch and wiring harness (Used for bike rack and utility trailer when we moved.)
    • Factory roof rack cross rails
    Interior:
    • Rear cargo tray
    • Factory short throw shifter
    • Factory boost gauge
    • Kenwood deck with USB and Aux in
    • Upgraded Polk audio speakers (slightly better than stock)
    • One of the rear seat head rests is missing, I should have it but haven't found it yet (took it off for the car seat, it's around here somewhere…)
    Tires/Suspension:
    • New struts less than 2000 miles ago (KYB GR2)
    • Aftermarket front and rear sway bars (rear is adjustable, forgot the brands)
    • Stock sway bars included
    • Newer Goodyear all season tires
    Extra parts:
    • Spare TD04 turbo (low miles, but never used it myself, bought it on mnsubaru a few years ago)
    • (extra) Stock ECU (previous owner had an AccessECU tune from Cobb, where you had to send the ECU in to them, so he bought an extra ECU to prevent downtime while getting tuned…)
    • Stock boost solenoid
    • Stock uppipe and downpipe
    • Stock grille and hood scoop
    • Stock front and rear sway bars
    • Stock intercooler y-pipe
    • 04 STI midpipe and gutted axle back (sounds good and a little more power, but has a small leak)
    • Front strut tower brace (needs a coat of paint)
    • Extra stock WRX wheel with ok all-season tire (used as a full-size spare)

Man...never thought that I'd see the day that you drove "a normal looking car" Joel! LOL

This car was very well taken care of! Joel is a good dude and a great seller. Part of this community for many years! GLWS bud and let it be known that i'd take that STi grille and TD04 if you end up parting out some of those parts! ;)

Love the color, being normal is no fun ;)

You might be able to sell the ECU in its own post, not everyday that spare ones show up...

    GL!!

    Thanks Josh and Eric.

I'll consider parting things out if it doesn't sell or if the buyer doesn't want some of the stuff.

Also I'm open to reasonable offers.

tvang88: I've available in the evenings (this week I'm busy wed and thurs evening though) or weekends in the afternoon.

Richard: replied to your PM, but I'll summarize here.

No accidents. The small dent was from me backing out of a garage, the front bumper scratch was from a parking garage.

    Vin available via PM.

No rust meaning no visible bubbling or rust on the panels, but it is a 12 year old MN car (prev owner was in Wisconsin). I'd assume it will start to rust as some point, but I've done my best to prevent it so far.

I have not done a compression or leakdown test.

Tranny and diff fluid changed every other year with Valvoline 75w90 (done in 2009, 2011 and 2013). I'll change it this spring if it hasn't sold by then.

I also just remembered that one of the dash bulbs is burnt out, behind the speedometer.
