Im curious as to if anyone has any thoughts or knowledge on what the best aftermarket undertray is to buy when replacing youre factory head unit in a 2004 legacy. Im going to be using a single-din alpine deck. The current head unit is larger (double-din?) radio with a single din tray below. Im looking around on the internet and im not finding too many replacement parts to comply with a single - din head unit. i would prefer to have one open large double din tray to go under the head unit if possible. Any help would be great. Thanks Danny
Is there not a Subaru one? If so I would go for that as fitment and how it looks will blend in. I know there is one for the forester, but i would guess there is one for the legacy too. Give a dealership a call, or look up a subaru parts dealer online.
i think i found the correct mounting kit for it which took me a bit. I do have another question though... can you use the stock sub in a 2004 legacy with an aftermarket head unit?
