2004 STI Longblock - $2500 OBO

Howdy all -


Got a STi longblock out of a 2004 STi. Has 108k on it, however I did a timing kit on this motor at 88k. Rotates freely, is free of piston slap or knock, and doesnt use any oil - no leaks.


Motor is a running longblock and came out last week. A new and upgraded longblock took the place of this one. I took this on trade for the new motor only because it was a complete/running engine.


Has a very straight block bore and is a 701 casting.


Previous owner had some concerns about valve lash, but my trained ear could not hear it. That being said, this is something that can be addressed for any one interested in this motor. I am a full time tech and can help make this any way you want it.


I have all of the parts to make this a complete motor, so if that's of interest please let me know.


Asking $2500 OBO. I don't really have space to sit on this, so serious offers will be entertained.
