I'm selling my wife's 2005 Saab 9-2X Aero. This car is very reliable and needs nothing. Everything works great and its very clean inside and out. Oil and filter was changed every 5k miles with synthetic.
    • AWD, 2.0L turbo engine, automatic transmission
    • Winter package (heated leather seats, heated side mirrors)
    • Factory optional HID headlights and 17" wheels
    • 122k miles
    • No rust
    • Ice cold A/C
    • Clean title, no accidents, owned since 2009.
    • New tires May 2011 (less than 5k miles on them)
    • New timing belt, water pump, thermostat and accessory belts changed at 101k miles (July 2010)
    PM me. Thanks!

How solid are these type of cars? Are they like a "VW" with lots of stupid sensors that go bad?

The sheet metal isnt even that different. They have a better tranny.

Yes, the "sheet metal" is the same (with the exception of the head/tail lights, fenders and hood...hood is still aluminum) but the tranny is exactly the same as an 05 WRX. Actually the whole car is mechanically identical to the 05 WRX with some minor differences: STi steering rack and STi rear lateral links. The Saabaru also has more sound-deadening material.

Here is a like that discusses all the minor differences:
    http://saab92x.com/viewtopic.php?id=406

So, the Saabaru is essentially the same as the 05 WRX, with some nice upgrades. They are pretty unique and hard to find.

Anyway, free bump from a fellow Saabaru owner - good luck with the sale!

If I was in the market for a different car for the wife, I'd be all over this. Once my car is paid off I'm going to enjoy the lack of car payment....

This thing is SUUUUUUPER clean! Chad takes really good care of his vehicles and is very knowledgable when it comes to maintaining them properly. Whoever buys this car will not be disappointed with it! Great car and great guy.

Good luck getting rid of it Chad, hope that it sells quick for you guys!
