Call the guy and go look at it. Bring someone like Matt or Me with you to inspect it. Woodbury is right up the street from me, so I have no problem going with someone to inspect it if you are interested.

I don't know why he would put a picture of a silver WRX in with his photos... maybe for the hoodscoop, but I don't know. That price is too good to be true for an Sti. Maybe it has a salvaged title?

And Zach, bring your new car to Firestone. I'm sure a lot of people would like to see the new ride. :)

Again, all you "too good to be true" people, he left a phone number, call him up. I'll go with you. Don't write stuff off as a scam until you ask. Someone on here could nail a sweet deal on an STi

    Not a scam, just salvaged.
yes, the same guy had an STi a few months ago that was a salvage rebuild. I am sure this one is as well. Their website is mentioned in the ad; it's what they do. http://www.worldmotorcars.net/?page=index

still, at that price (if you could haggle down another 1-2k) it may not be a bad deal. I would want to see pics before the rebuild though.

Hey guys I am going to check it out tomorrow. And honestly for some like myself a Salvaged title mean very little for what I do. Track car here I come. LOL

Readymix_wrx pm me with your number I would like a second opinion if the car is appealing.

My last car I had before my WRX was a salvaged. It ran great from 11,000 miles till I sold it at 70K or so. I tried to sell it plenty of times while I had but no one, I mean dealerships, private buyers, ect wanted to touch it. MY advise to you would be to stear clear of Salvaged titles. People will tell you it doesn't matter, but I know first hand that it does.

I think it depends on the car and it's age. My VW was a salvage title, ran great, and I had no problems selling it. But of course it was 12 years old, so by the time they're at that age/price range, I think people don't care as much (it's a cheap running car). But agreed, if it's a newer car, you may have problems reselling it.
But it's an STI, so unless it's a lemon, why would you need to sell it......ever......?
