    2005 VSCR Test Days at St. Cloud

    May 21, June 11, July 9, Aug. 13, Sept. 10, *Oct. 8
    * weather permitting

    Join us for test days at the Minnesota Highway Safety Center track just outside St. Cloud. This is a great place to check out your race car or just enjoy some track time in a non-race but brisk driving environment. Vintage racers, there will be annual tech inspections available at the May 21 event at no cost if you do not run on the track. If you need tech before then, for the SVRA race at Road America, contact competition chair Brian Crombie at 612-479-3282.
    Both vintage race cars and street legal sports sedans are eligible to run. Required safety equipment includes a Snell 95 or better helmet, 3-point or better seat belts, and roll bars for open cars. No open shoes are allowed (no sandals), and long pants are recommended.

    A technical inspection will be done, including seat belt condition. Drivers are responsible for meeting the safety requirements. The inspection at the track is to confirm your car's readiness. Please use the Test Day tech inspection form, and check off each item in the "Driver" column before having your car inspected at the track. Download tech inspection form: PDF Word
    Please read the track rules of the St. Cloud facility as well. You are responsible for adhering to these rules.
    Please fill out the Test Day Entry Form on this web site for events you wish to attend. The form will be forwarded by e-mail to Bill Groschen. The cost is $55 per event day per driver. Please mark which dates you are paying for in the "Memo" space of your check. Your 2005 membership dues ($30 per member) must be current in order to run. Please send a membership form and a separate check for dues and mark "membership" in the check memo space. To be registered, your form must be filled out completely and your payment must be received in advance of the event.
    Send checks to:
