I just bought this car from Morries Subaru.

I'm wondering what mods I can get that would get it around 250-275 awhp for the least amount of money, and I was hoping you guys could help me out with that part.

Turbo back exhaust and a VF39 off of a STi. Or any VF turbo.

Do they replace your turbo at the 60k mile tune up? I was wondering because my WRX has 50,000 miles on it.

How about the Intercooler? I was thinking about getting a cheap intercooler like a CXRacing I/C or something. The stock WRX I/C just looks small.

Stage 2 pulls great on a 2.5l WRX. Cheap, too. A turboback and a road tune really makes these cars come alive.

Even simply a reflash to stage 1 with no parts is a huge gain in that car. I stayed at stage 1 for over a year in my 06 and loved it.

You won't need injectors at all unless you go bigger than your goal.

With just a Turbo-Back exhaust and an intake my 07 WRX is putting down 260awhp and 300 awtq, no new turbo needed.

Tuning is the most significant part of your modding process. Never put performance parts on your car without getting it tuned for it. You might have a hard time getting your power numbers with just a stage 2 set up, however turbo back exhaust and good tune will point you in the right direction. You might benifit from larger intercooler but intake would not do you any good with stock turbo. Do not waist your money on it. If I were you, I would save up some money and get all performance parts at once, so you only have to tune your car one time.

    Welcome to MNSUBARU.

I have an Invidia DP with a Perrin Single tip cat back. Full 3inch the whole way, and an APS 70mm intake...this of course is way bigger than I need it to be for the stock turbo and is frankly very uneccessary, but if I ever decide to upgrade the turbo it may come in handy and when it is tuned correctly it helps out.

Don't bother with the intake. It's a waste. From what I've read, it causes more problems than it solves. (unless you are going for BIG power) Do the uppipe and turboback to start. Also get it tuned. As said above, a tune is very important.

Wow that's a lot of HP for not that many mods. Very nice!

That seems way high for a VF39 on pump. Sure you have your weights and tire sizes correct?

Anyway, Anthony nice car. Numbers are just numbers, and will very drastically depending on what dyno you put your car on.

A TBE and tune will net you significantly more power and torque then stock. However, the stock turbo on the 06-07 WRX lacks much top end, so a "middle sized" turbo would net you closer to your power goals with pull throughout the RPM range.

    Also, welcome to MNSubaru!

Everything has been double checked. I ran BP 93 for those logs. I have a monster tmic which allows for the extra timing. Airboy spreadsheet-delta weight 250(me, 3/4 gas, skid plates), tire diameter changed to 24.98 for 195/65/15, smoothing factor 6. I'll send you the logs if you want to run them yourself. I've seen people make more power than this with this setup, not many, but a few.
