If I can get a good trade price or sell it for what I want I have some fun plans otherwise it will be my daily driver and I'll what another year or two to get the car I'm hoping for. Its such a good car I feel hesitant to sell it but I'm a perfomance junky and what to start a build on a more expensive car!

so you're saying 310whp isn't enought? or is it the "car" that you want to upgrade?

If I were you and have the money for a more expensice car, I'd keep this subie and MOD the crap out of it. But thats just me.

And as a person that wants faster cars, I would sell the Subaru and get something that makes big power without as much modding. I'm on the fence right now about selling the WRX to do something a little more potent.

I think I read above that he wants a 2010 Subaru that is "rare." Don't know how that works though.

I've heard a while back that Subaru was considering selling the Sti Spec C in the U.S. It turns out they are I got a phone call on friday that a dealer in the area is getting two in, I'm going to talk to him tommorow/Monday and find out more (he left a message on my phone)
I like the 2010 spec C because of the performance orientaion of the car and in stock form the car is fast, well balanced and great for the track or street.

Not a big killer in any one category, Just a fun car that they have limited numbers of production and I want a 6 speed tranny instead of the 5 spd my wrx has.

As far as power goes my wrx is faster then a stock sti and then some which is alot of fun, but I want something that is more balanced with solid strong breaks, suspension, and power. My Wrx is perfect for someone who just wants a street car or just going fast in a straight line or autocross even at highway speeds the car pulls

Someone buy this car before I change my mind and keep it! ;)

That car ^ and the new 370Z will be some hot competition for the subies in the near future!

Spec-C's seem to be a bit over priced for what you get, save your money and buy a focus RS when they come to the states :).

Yeah sounds like a awesome car too, I have the same motor the Inline 2.5 intercooled and turboed 300 hp engine in my wife Volvo V70 R its alot of fun.

My car is no longer for sale, I had someone who was going to buy it but I decided I can't part with my car :emo: (I would regret it latter) I'll just wait and see the new spec C. I don't want to be the first sucker to pay full price for the 2010 anyways.

I don't understand why anyone would buy a new car and lose all that money when you drive off the lot. I have total about 22K in my car and when the new trans is done will make over 500wheel. I has good brakes, its stable, built motor, with some minor mods it could be a track or what ever kind of car you want. how much is that new Spec C.

Where did you get this info? From my understanding the car Spec C is still a 2.0 so that being said I doubt we will ever get what Europe and Japan consider the Spec C.

Good luck with the sale, I'd have to agree with Dippy tho. You got a sweet machine there I wouldn't bother with buying a new stock car.

Ok so one guy at a dealership said that the Spec C will be coming here and be near the same price as a 2009 STI with BBS's and Nav (39.5k)?? Seems far fetched ... I mean there is a reason that the car hasn't been brought over here. The EJ207 does not even come close to our emissions over here. So if there is a car with the "Spec C" badge stateside it will not be the same one Europe and Japan get simply because of the motor. I'd even be shocked to see a twin scroll on a production USDM Subaru.

I think it's great that the spec C is forsale stateside, As far as the engine I know the spec C has 320 hp instead of the 305 the base sti has (not really much of a difference) The motor is most likely a 2.5 like all sti in the US and not a 2.0 like the JDM versions.

The spec C has larger calipers, lighter wheels and longer 5th and 6th gear, under body aero, stiffer more harsh (track) suspension, 150 ro 200 pounds lighter and is extremely limited numbers. The salesperson (Jay) is a nice guy and told me as much as he new the car is available July 14 or 15th take at look at it and be amazed the a spec C is here, maybe even with a 2.0L ;)

It's not for sale End Thread
