Eh, its alright. I thought the 06 front facia was ugly when they came out with it. Its definately grown on me, and now I think it looks awesome. Cant speak for the dsm crowd, but I'm sure that if they dont like it as it is, they'll find a way to make it look pretty killer.
Looks a lot better.. more power but heavier. Maybe we'll see the EVO pics after the Detroit auto show.
I really like it! Damn, it's nice. The front of it looks sorta like a Ford Falcon (which I think is sold in Australia). I wonder how much horsepower is the GTS version going to have and if an Evolution IX version is coming out of it soon. Subaru needs to do something with their design department FAST. The STi isn't boring, but it isn't too hot either. Ford Falcon
i like it alot but i still think that they should bring some oldschool touches back from the evo 5/4 and put on nice foglights. dont understand why they removed it in the first place.
I also like it. They better not have the Pedestrian/Small Animal catcher like some of the pictures that have been floating about.
Don't love it-don't hate it. But god it's boring! Very sad to see the wheel base stretched to resemble more of a plain jane family sedan. No thanks, would rather have the Ford Falcon below it w/ the sporty looking hood and headlights! Looks kind of mustangish from the front but w/ 4 doors. The Mitsu has no lines at all....but wait, a spoiler yay. Hopefully the Evo will still come out looking mean like most have in the past. :dunno: But if they stick w/ this look for the Evo, I will sell my stock in Mitsubitchi!! lllooolll!
i hate the look of the concept, but i do like the look of that pic, but i honestly HATE mitsus so either way its crap to me.
the ford falcon looks like the newer pontiac GTO's, with the hood, they way the fenders are styled, wheels, and the spoiler. I agree with how toned down and bland the new evo looks. It hints at a mazdaspeed 6, which undoubtly is quick, but has no visual appeal.
actually the ford falcon is just a larger version of the ford taurus.. do a history search on them... they look very similar up till the latest one... the GTO is totally different.... research the Holden Commodore thats what the GTO is made from... its actually a remake of a classic called a Monaro (coupe) also alex if you look closely they still have the fog lights on the new one.. just not HUGE ones
looks like a mazda 6. meh. as for the ford falcon. thats what the original Mad Max car was made from. which is pretty sweet.
It definitely looks better than the base Lancer currently on sale. However, it doesn't look as good as the Evo. However, I'm betting the new Evo will have a new hood, front facia, rocker panels, rear wing, and rear bumper. So it still has a chance to look good. :biggrin:
