I actually like this...The white 5dr. looks awesome and aggressive...*wow* If this is what we are getting, 2 thumbs up...*push button* start http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1370053&page=5
I'd seriously would take one of the new STI over the EVO BUT that's my opinion, I really, really like the looks of the new STI
i bet pretty soon some company will make. solid red or something like that for the replacement of the taillights
Mechanically I still say Evo "X" over the STi. Those wide fender's do give it some character, but do we really gain any additional ground coverage. Though I dont missing my feet dancing at corner enterance, I could be using my left for for braking. SubarU needs to star getting their act together. We want another WRC title.
yup...looks like we are getting this soon... http://www.subaru.com/sub/misc/2008/autoshow/ny0311/wrx/index.html U.S. Version- left hand driver
didnt notice till now but that antenna makes it look like a RC car. Need to replace that with something other than the bmw fin.
I'm rock hard! Need to start saving up, I dont know if I could ditch the bug-eye though. Yeah I prolly could.:ugh:
How'd you come to that judgment when neither has made it over here yet and the EVO X is pretty much new from the ground up?
No conclusion yet, bro, DDD is calling on this one. No, but seriously you're right; I'm just really disappointed with Subaru not investing more into driver assist technology. They have been kind limping along, throwing things here and there. I'd like to say I am fairly familar with both brands after having been around them and driven them. There's alot each other can take from one another and improve their cars. I personally would like to do less manuel hand shifting and more left foot braking, less steering w/better ratio, quicker traction sensor for more grip, better seats and better gear ratio's. No I'm not getting lazy, I'm just trying to find the easiest way around and focus more on my driving. Alot of this is personal preference. There comes a time in your progression when you will have ask and I've been pondering this question for awhile now. l am limited by my own human instincts and reactions. So the question remains, do you let the driver sort it out or do you use driver assist technology. In my book, it all goes to the best car for the job!
Heck, that's exactly what I DON'T want. I dunno, balls-to-the-wall competition is great, but I also drive hard to have... oh, I dunno... fun? Why don't we just make a car that drives itself then? Just sit in it and watch it go really really fast
Not to stray away from this post, and I formally appoligize. But on this note, here's an interesting thread from another forum on the subject. Food for thought for those HardCore Motorsports enthusiasts. Man and Machine. The pursuit to become the machine and not just the driver. And than one with the road! Alonso VS Hamilton & Massa VS Kimi !!! Who is Faster??? http://forum.mnautox.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7921
STI looks much batter IMHO... Front end with the wide fenders = :yumyum::yumyum::yumyum: Rear tail-lights still make me throw up a bit in my mouth... But it is looking better and better the more I see... Personally I know it seems a lot of people don't like the quad exhaust look, but I actually really like it. Aggressive and mean lookin! Still want a sedan even though it won't happen... White FTW!
I wonder what will be the price on that thing. Considering the price on wrx is close to 30k Sti will be somewhere close to 40k
I know the lights look wayyy better like this. And without the chrome part is even better. I am sure cobb will sell those.
Subaru has there way of doint that.... I thought the 06 07 WRX was ugly as hell. Then the more you see them the more you want one... And i want an 08 white STI!!!
