I believe those were painted by the owners or a shop. Pretty sure that is all it is, just some paint.

hmmm... ill look into this.. maybe ill try the tint first and if it peels then ill paint it that way its easier to clean if the tint peels.

That's the route I'm going. I figure once you paint them you're screwed. So I'm gonna do the tint and see how I like it, then go from there.

Don't do paint!!! Do overlays instead...

Do some research on NASIOC for '08 GR Overlays, specifically BlueBatmobile's Overlays.

I mean no disrespect by this, I'm just trying to help you but have you looked much on NASIOC? Do so if you haven't, right away. All of your questions so far have been asked before on NASIOC. Do a search for your topic of question in their forums.

you could always talk to Chris @ Flawless Front Ends. Instead of buying something, you can just modify your current ones!

I had Chris Weckle apply my bluebatmobile overlays on my STI and they look awesome. Getting the film to bend around some of those curves is well beyond my level of expertise.

tried the tint!!! do not do! haha unless your a expert... the side tail lights suck... they bend around and then have shapes in them that make it very difficult if not impossible.. im going to do the stained glass now.

Looks Nice! From afar spray looks just as good as film and costs a little less. Now you need to paint that chrome piece either red or black, that would look sick!

I think the red would stick out like a sore thumb. Go with black.

black for sure, your paint color black, shell out the $60 and have it professionally done, I color matched the chrome piece to my car and it looks 10000x better
