Hi, I am going to be attempting to sell my car over the next 2 months, I am buying a new home and wouldn't mind having a car payment that is less then what I have now, though I am approved for both. If it sells I will be very sad to see it go but if it don't sell by the end of July I will be keeping it. What I have is a: 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX w/35.5k miles comes with standard features: turbo, awd, cold AC, traction control, ect... Also I have a lot of add-ons that are on the car: *3" TSUDO turbo back exhaust *18x8.5 ROTA GRIDS gold (BRAND NEW NO SCRATCHES/GASHES/ OR ANY RASH AT ALL!) *wrapped with GOODYEAR EAGLE GT's (Almost brand new also, only about 5-10k miles on them) *Eibach springs (about 1.5 inch drop, nothing drastic) fresh alignment and camber adjustment. *PERRIN performance short shifter *Light weight crank and alternator pulleys *Glowshift boost guage mounted in the center vent (digital and red to match the interior) *Ebay brand front grill (pictured) *SICKSPEED loud horns mounted in the front grill *Tail lights are sprayed red (I think the clear tail lights look kid-ish, very cleanly done) *Tint (40% in the 2 front windows and 30% in all the back ones) Asking $18000 or $17000 without rims and with stock exhaust I think thats everything I will update it if i remember anything, will consider trades plus cash but I will be very picky, only really looking for 03 white or black wrx or 05 legacy gt. Nice car. Pretty expensive for a salvage title. Average depreciation over three years is 50% of MSRP. I suspect you will be keeping the car.
yeah i got 2 people who are interested right now, one is just seeing if he can afford it with car insurance and car payments another we have agreed on a price now he just has to come check it out and see if he likes it.
but yeah 50% of msrp is ridiculous! haha never heard that ive heard around 75% of it and these are around 21-23 so figure around 17k then add the extras and that the car is clean and a wrx but yeah i may be keeping it but well see i have had 3 offers for trades too but only highly interested in 1 which ill find out early in the week what happens with that
Kelley Blue Book for a 2008 WRX with 35k miles on it is 20,610 in good condition. 18,760 in fair condition. With a salvaged title, he may have to try a little harder, not knowing why it was salvaged I can't really make a judgement on it. But the car appears in good working condition, 20k is pretty close.
also willing to drop the price 1500 if i keep the rims and after market exhaust and sell it with seperate rims and stock exhaust installed.
just cleaned them off and used glass enamel found at any arts and craft store or hardware store, the first time they kinda faded but the second time i used a clear coat, the clear coat was normally used for porceline or glass and they have held up perfectly since for months!
