Hey everyone, I just wanted to see if anyone was wanting to meet up for some riding at Lutsen. We already got our townhome at caribou highlands reserved. We can fit quite a few more people in the townhome if anyone is interested. This is the 4th annual trip for myself and my buddies. We show up on thursday, ride all day, ride friday,saturday and rush home sunday for the superbowl. In between riding theres ALOT of drinking, eating and other things going on (can't mention on here) but, is a really really good time. If staying in our townhome isnt your thing, maybe get a room on the hill somewhere so you can leave the chaos anytime to get to quiet. Or just show up for a day and hang out. :emo: no excuse. just stay away from trees. if you fall on your butt maybe you'll get lucky and it'll be cold enough that your little chet tears will freeze before someone notices. :laugh: seriously man its not hard. my gf is learning, she's gone a total of 8 runs in the time we have gotten to go and she can make it down the hill just fine. call this # and maybe you'll man up to tryin it 1-888-bal-mart tell them your case and maybe they'll be nice enough to give you a discount or even deliver them to you. I just got back from there on Monday. Stayed at the same place. Lots of fun but only a 1/3 of the runs were open.
is this the last weekend of jan/first of feb? I'm bringing 47 friends from uw stout up there that weekend, we might need to meet up....college girls that like to board? we are staying in grand marais at a super 8. so if volume of people is a concern let me know and we'll help fill out your cabin.

yeah man, that would be awesome, I'm looking to make it to spirit as well some time this winter. I got a free pass for there. Is that where you normaly go? the exact reason we go later in the season. I went for my birthday 1 year at the end of november and there was 1 run open. still had fun after about a case of beer. yes, this is the last weekend of the month. 47 people, WOW, might be a bit too much for the townhome. We got the biggest one they had, but still would fall short of fitting that many! Although, we can have a get together. theres a huge deck that wraps around and we'll have a few kegs on hand. So the more the merrier!
you my friend are going to have a blast on this trip. I assure you. probably more fun than me. hurry up and go get your stuff, we're riding again this saturday! youre missing out!

When in doubt go to Stout. i kinda miss that school..... not to mention the driving roads around there are amazing!!!

damn i wish i had seen this earlier, ide totally be down. you guys should plan a trip out to Whitecap mountain where i work, i could probably get a discount on lodging but i doubt ill get anything for lift tickets : / but its an awesome place to ride very high up there in best of the midwest.
Tony, PM me your # if you got Verizon and have service up in lutsen. I will probably be heading up on friday afternoon/night and i would be down for a little partying, not sure if i will hit the slopes or not, got some other things i need to take care of.
^ nice rich! yea its over 20 mins tho actually probably getting closer to 35-40 since i cant really think of any good ways to go strait from there to lutsen, i think u have to go back down through grand marais.

Careful with cell service, I dont remember having good signal with ATT, but my friends with Verizon had great coverage. Should be a good time, they have a park now!
