Just an FYI, you might want to blur the plates on the photos. Especially on the newer vehicles. Some of these pictures could be seen by subaru dealership service centers and they might want to deny any warranty claims on vehicles that have been used in competition. I only say that because it has happened before. These are some great photos! I hope there are more to come. Thank you for taking the pictures today.
I know that. You know that. All of us that did that know that. But when they see helmets on the drivers, they think competition. I'm not trying to jump all over you about it. Just giving a friendly word of advice. Do you have anymore pics of the day? They looked really good.
Boring car...looks boring, again. I'm probably flooring it, in 1st. To my defense, these tires (Continental ExtremeWinterContact, aka Viking Contact 5) have awesome grip in the snow.
It was really nice meeting you this weekend!!! Boring photos usually equate to fast times. (meaning your smooth)
It was nice chatting with ya sir! and you were cruisin through there for sure. The course setup and the sunlight was making it difficult to capture really busy shots. So its my fault.
Anybody else got more pictures? I'm hoping somebody caught one with the white WRX (mine). I would love to show it off to friends and wife.
The gal with dmoo had a camera as did Charles I thought. Drocnoc caught the rear end of yours in the conga line. Ask him for it.
Sorry for the wait. Dan told me I need to make the forum a higher priority next time. Hope you enjoy them and I have more decent ones of everyone so let me know if you want more of your car. http://s395.photobucket.com/albums/pp39/krmatson/Rally Cross Driving School 12 13 09/
Pictures look AWESOME! This looks like a ton of fun. Next year I am so doing this. It is a good thing I didnt do it this year... my car died on Sat, and that proabably would have a happened @ the school. Next year though
Thanks alot, Kelly and Adam! Great shots!! Two fail shots: Nope, didn't get the flick down there. But Tall D didn't either. Snowplow!
Cone failures caught and Carl would instruct you to drive into a cone. Glad to see your smiles while you were driving too. Always a highlight of going through the pictures is seeing how much fun you are all having.
The flick around the pin turn was impossible. When I finally changed the course to help people initiate the flick we only got a couple runs out of it before we had the course hazard...a big ice bump When I tried the flick on the 360 with the original course set-up I plowed through 3 or 4 cones on the outside:laugh:..............................and then I was on cone patrol for 30 minutes:biggrin:
I wonder if anyone got pics of me doing my flick at the 180 in the MR2. Had a few good ones and a few bad ones. I'd like to see both. Such a fun event. I'm glad everyone seemed to have a good time out there. I know I learned a few things. Like put some more weight in the front end so I have something to keep the front end planted!!
What were you driving? I have many more just posted ones I liked more than others but I am sure I can find you.
I found you. With so many red subarus at one meet I didn't notice i hadn't posted any of you. There are more on the site now as well.
Thank you very much! Those are some great shots you got of the whole class. I can't wait for the first rallyx of the season. Rally rally rally!
photo #1 is awesome! nice capture! i really like the DOF and crop. but i kinda wish i could see more motion in that shot other than the flying snow. but its tough with slower subjects.
