As close to a Spec-C as you're gonna get! http://jalopnik.com/5411811/2010-subaru-wrx-sti-special-edition-looks-like-spec-c-isnt http://www.caranddriver.com/news/car/09q4/2010_subaru_wrx_limited-auto_shows I find it odd that they are dropping the HIDs for Halogens in the SE STi, while adding HIDs to the limited WRX.
That was one of the major deciding factors for me over the EVO. I hate fiddling with the temp... and cruise ftw.
Well, factory vs factory tune, I think the 09+wrx was pretty damn good the way it is. The STI however..needs a retune IMO.
Can't the 06+ make it to 60 in 2nd? I know 04-05 can't, but to say the wrx outperforms the sti because it gets to some arbitrary speed faster than the sti is a little ridiculous.
 The 09+ does have a much bigger turbo than the previous wrx with the td04. Turbo can be compared to the stock sti turbo. Advantage that the 08+sti has is the bigger intercooler and dual avcs as to the single avcs that the wrx (06+) has.
Not that it really matters on this forum, but i hear stock to stock the 09 wrx is right on par with the 08/09 STi in the quarter mile as well. Motortrend: The real benefit of the STi is it's all around performance, on the skid pad it outperformed the WRX greatly and the Slalom was something like 6 tenths faster.
I agree that the price difference isn't justified. Subaru has been increasing the performance of the wrx and lgt, but has kept the sti pretty much the same since 2004. definitely true, but for $6k+ more? Come on Subaru, do something with the sti.
