I'd love to make it out to this, but I've already got plans for that Saturday. If they fall through, I'll probably show up...hopefully I know a little beforehand so I can save that $10
Maybe both if I can get my buddy in the neighborhood to drive the new one. For sure I will be bringing the '03 WRX. The guys at NF have been working their magic again and the little yellow car is getting to be pretty quick. Back in the spring we installed a V7 close ratio six speed and R180 with all the accompanying bits. Then about a month ago we upgraded the turbo to a 16G XT with 850cc injectors and a JDM V7 intake and TGVs. After the turbo install Nuke got his hands on it she really started to sing. I'd like to get both cars dynoed at the same time 'cause its a tough call which one is making the bigger numbers based on driving. I suspect it's the WRX.
Event starts at 11am, but how long will it go for? I have plans around noon-ish, but could probably make it out there around 3...would that be too late?
payment sent, lets see if I can break into the 300whp should be close, if not other upgrades are on the way for spring
Ok, I updated the paid list this morning and I also created a google+ event for the day. If you have a G+ account, please jump into the event so your pictures can all be added to the event. Russ
So I have a time conflict for that Saturday and will need to leave by around 12:30ish; definitely don't want to jump ahead in line, but wondering if I can get one of the earlier slots? Pretty please with E85 in the tank (think like sugar on top)?
I'd say just show up early. I'm not quite sure how time slots are being managed this year but they were able to accommodate everyone who had specific times they needed last year.
The link provided didn't work for me. But I was able to find it by going to Google+ and just searching "rsmotors". This link worked for me: https://plus.google.com/u/0/events/c85vse024jgj1stb8vmeom1ojb0
Last year it was first come first serve, the first to sign up and sign the waiver was the first to dyno.
Hey now, two years ago I ran my Aveo on the dyno. It was more fun to watch that I'd ever thought an Aveo on a dyno would be. The tailpipe was too small to get the O2 sensor in, however.
I think I might go, but I'd be another that would "have to get done early". Can anyone confirm it's first come, first serve? And the rollers will be starting at 11AM? I don't mind showing up early if it means I can head out before noon.
I would be more than willing to let someone who need to go run before me, if that is how things turn out.
We are picking up my wifes "new" WRX that RS tuned already, so I just need to confirm if we are bringing 1 car or 2 before I send payment
Thanks all to my response for query above, hope to get there nice and early! I think I'm all paid up now; did it work? Excited to be there!!
no E85 at the moment and your guess is closer then mine I was thinking at crank hp don't know why I put whp then again the car has suprised me time and time again
i'll be paying day of in case i cant make it, hoping to put down 350+ last year i made 240 with a td04-19t on pump gas.. i have added a few upgrades =)
