Although i'm not a huge ford fan, the all new focus has impressed me styling wise, interior design and some enhanced driving abilities. Yes, i know it doesn't compare to subaru performance wise, but i think ford is setting the bar high in terms of new features added compared to subaru's quite standard features.

If it wasn't already obvious, the second photo is a photochop. Here's the real one:

Still very big wheels on a car that big. I think they are 19's. Supposed to have about 250hp/250tq. Seems like it should be a pretty fun car if you can deal with FWD.

meh i always was a ford guy and came to subaru for the AWD because ford could never bring their AWD system overseas. i have to say im not a huge fan of the new car, i think the front grill is way too big and i really hate how the tail lights do that wrap around the side thing. as for the big wheels i think that is fords new thing, the new edge has optional 22" wheels. I think ford has made strides but i think they have a ways to go

oh and the ST isnt even a model being offered yet, the lower level ones are even uglier, i think that the ST is the only good looking one, but ford will most likely do what they always do and butter us up make it look really cool and then say too bad we are not selling it. just like they did with the RS for years, the cosworth, the ST (for many years and then disappointed us to bring it here and make it worse then the SVT)

Interior is a little busy. I like it overall. Wouldn't have pegged it as a ford if it weren't for the emblem...

I'm still curious about the "parking assist feature". I would love to see the car the parking it's self in person and see how accurate it works. They should probably extended the technology to have the car come out of the parking spot using a remote control.

well they have done wonders witht he mustang because its their performance platform the fusion is decent but still only alot of technology, they talk up this ecoboost but they have only put it in 2 cars, maybe 3 if they did the ecoboost f-150 yet. they have been talking about the ecoboost for years and they are moving with it at a snails pace, the focus could have been the first car with the turbo because the euro version already runs turbo so the technology was already there. i still say dont get your hopes up ford does this all the time. talk it up and slap you in the face and tell you why you got your hopes up.

I don't know. Every iteration of the current mustang is pretty badass.

The fusion is a solid car and the new exploder if worth looking at as well.

I'm all for a competitive market. Hopefully the rest of the manufacturers get their heads out of their asses and step their game up

My wife had a Ford Edge for a rental this week while her car was being fixed, and I was extremely impressed with it, to the point where we're going to give it a serious look when we replace her car. I would have no qualms driving that everyday. Ford has done a great job of innovating and improving their product line.

Yeah, the domestic makers have been stepping it up. Ford is getting all European on us, and the new 2011 Dodge Journey I have for my work vehicle is probably the nicest work vehicle I could have hoped for. But again, don't hold your breath on the Focus. They've done this before.

Most Fords of recent vintage I have looked at no longer use seam sealer where the outer door skin is crimped over onto the main assembly. The seam at the bottom leaves a little trough for salt, sand and water to collect. I'm not sure what is up with this new manufacturing technique.

Plus one on the Dodge Jouney. The only "issue" I had with it is that it seemed hugh while driving it, but doesn't really look all that big on the outside.

Yeah, it took me a while to understand it. It has alot to do with the huge dash and long windshield. It makes the front cab seem enormous. But after a trip to Chicago and back in it on Friday (my first actual work trip in the thing) I had gotten used to the interior size. Though, I always feel like I have to lean to look, be it out the back or the front. But it's such a minor gripe when compared to all good **** going on in there. I don't know if the compact cars are this way for Dodge, but most all of their line up now comes standard with a 4.3 inch touch screen entertainment system in the dash. It had a USB connector, and a aux-in connector in the center armrest, along with a 12v power connection in there. I believe it can control i-devices with the USB, I use it to slap a huge USB stick in there full of music. Flawless.

We test drove the Focus and we just werent very impressed. I guess it was the road noise and it seemed like it was fighting to get up to speed. My girlfriend ended up picking the new Chevy Cruze instead. I was impressed with the fit and finish, as well as how quiet the cabin was. We saw 38mpg on the highway the other day....and we were very happy with that as well.

A guy I work with just got one about a month ago. REALLY nice truck. He gave me a ride in it and I was really impressed!

Is the GTR fun to own now? Or does it still cost over a thousand dollars every 9000 miles to have the tranny fluid changed out?

Well now with everything in Japan I know the Altima redesign has been pushed back but they probably already pushed that. I went to the dealer show in Vegas with the owner of my dealership and the new line up is sick! the Versa looks like a mini altima the sentra a mini Maxima but they wont be arriving until july aug probably

I think the titans are due for an overhaul big time...they have had only minor cosmetic things done to it since the first model.....I like those trucks, when they first came out they raised the bar for their class. but I don't know what their gonna do their sales aren't that good. and with the frontiers I wonder if they'll ever put the V8 in them like they did for the pathfinder?!?! we sell more frontiers than titans. I don't really like what they did with the maxima's, with the body and the CVT transmissions they put in them.
