    http://www.lexus.com/LFA/

I noticed that it looks like the Toyobaru concept car. Meanwhile is it overpriced?
Would you choose this over a Ferari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini (in your dreams of course)

    Anyhow lets hear those opnions...

The LFA was supposed to be Toyota's re-entry into the pure sports car market. The Subaru joint venture was supposed to compete in the compact RWD segment as Toyota's return to the AEXX Corolla package.

lmfao. I don't think ANYONE in the market for this car is choosing it OVER any other car. Add it to a stable of other cars? Yes.

This car does not appeal to me. The technology and R&D that went into creating the car do interest me.

i think every single one is already spoken for. Its an awesome car but the R&D took so long that the price of the car is astronomical

They get their hands on an LFA and the best idea they have is a drag race against a GTR? Might as well test a wake board in a swimming pool.

A thousand times this. And the best part was the huge let down after the long buildup.

"We have the car for only a few hours, and we can't take it on public roads, but there is just one question we want answered..."

Yes, I know, you want to know how well it performs on a slalom, or you want to pit it's time around the Ring vs a Corvette Z06 or a F430 right? Oh, what? A dragrace? Who the **** cares how it performs on a quartermile? It isn't a drag racing car.

I still think the price is way too high despite the fact it has alot of carbon fiber parts. I hear only 500 will be made and that only 10 are coming to the US.

    Topgear's view about it..

I agree that the price is ludicrous but it is a damn cool car. The technology throughout is stunning. Bugatti has proven there is a market to sell small-quantity big-dollar cars, and as a halo car I think it fits well and will promote their brand.

I'm sure you'll even see some trickle-down effect from the technology, imagine that full customized high-FPS LCD dash in your subie someday.

This is exactly why I'm excited about this car (and all others like it)

I think it was a great engineering exercise for Toyota, ahem, I mean Lexus. Give your engineers free reign (almost) to build a sports car and see what they come up with. Lessons learned can be applied in later models, as mentioned.

Stop slandering this car. All of you.

If you want any real information about this car, let me know. I'm in the process of configuring the LFA that my boss is buying.

Literally EVERYTHING is customizable. FOR "FREE." You want different stitching on the steering wheel than on the seat? Sure. You want purple leather? Sure. Purple alcantara to match said leather on the headliner? No problem. I'm not lying. That "online configurator" thing they released to everyone online is a JOKE! ahaha

Haha, I didn't even see your posts, Dan. I was talking about so many people saying "OMG IT ALMOST LAWST 2 A GTR!!!1!1one"

I'm sick of hearing that. I have so much involvement on one of the ones we're getting that I'm really really excited to see it come to fruition.

Oh, and 150 are slated to come to the USA the latest I heard, not 10. That number is subject to change, however.

I'm really gunning to get a Nurburgring package car, but I HIGHLY doubt that will happen. 1 of 50 in the world plox?

I think this car is wicked, the engineering, detail and technology are absolutely ridiculous. Would I buy it if I could afford it? No, unless like Idget said, I already owned a McLaren F1, Veyron, etc.
I whish more brands would (and could afford) to allow their engineer's mental masturbation to be put to good use...
