I got the email directly from SOA. I have a My Subaru account so maybe that's how they got my email.
I think I'll RSVP. Chong, if I go I'll definately stop by your booth.

The last time I got free tickets for an AutoShow was back in 2010 when I went to San Francisco to test drive the new Nissan Leaf. The fact that Range Rover had a mound of dirt right in front of the entrance and was offering FREE test drives on their course made it even more sweet and then they were handing out free ceramic coffee mugs with leather covers. I wish we had this much fun here. ;) Hope to see some of you out there on March 9th at the BIR booth. Stop by I'd be happy to give you FREE rides. lol

Hi, I got the email. I RSVP'd and a screen came up saying "We appreciate your interest in this special event, however we are sorry to advise you that due to significant interest in this event, the limited number of tickets available have been distributed. " I believe you can get discount tickets or coupons from just about any car dealership or at least they have done that in the past.

If I was closer and knew for sure when I would be available I would be interested. Was going to be coming down for the Autoshow and to do rallyx safety steward training but it looks like the 3/17 event was cancelled.

It's a pretty easy gig working the SCCA booth. Pretty much just hand out brochures and let the booth do the talking if you're not sure about something. Easy work for a free ticket. You just show up early or stay late to walk around the show and check it out.

I didn't see the SCCA booth, but I did find the BIR booth...finally able to sit in a BRZ...I need to ditch the kids or teach the kids to sit cross legged in the back. Also I didn't know this but Bloomington Subaru has a 2014 Forester XT .

I just got back from the show. That Lexus ILS race car was tasty so was the built Evo X. Regarding the new Forster, I like the prior model more. Also I noticed the 2013 wrx has some fugly strips that run the length of the car on the doors. Sorry if that offends, but I am glad mine doesn't have them and hope they are just glued on like badging so they can be easily removed. That XV is also very cool. Supposedly it has more ground clearance than many SUVs!

The scca booth is located in lobby E in front of the escalators. It's not so much of a booth more of a spot with two cars and a table.

    Hi,

I called the local Ford dealership and they had VIP Passes still available so got in free yesterday! Went to see Chong at the BIR booth, but I think he had left the booth for the day. Got to sit in the BRZ for the first time. No STI version coming anytime soon from what I was told.

Sorry I got there at 9:40am on Sat while the parking lot was empty and before the crowd came in, checked in at the Exhibitors line and got a quick tour of the show. I had a very busy day ahead of me so I left at 2 pm, I stopped by the SCCA booth and chatted with Tim for a bit and helped answer a few questions. Thanks for stopping by.
