I don't actually have any ideas for where...... But PLEEEEAAAAAASE North side venues. The chance of me making the drive to more than a couple of those events is very low.

^That would be great! We would love to hook up Chux with a northern venue. As of right now tho we'll settle for ANY venue. It's going to be a tough season with the lack of places to race. We can use all of the help that we can get!! Make sure that you tell your friends that we are fully insured through the SCCA! Most land owners first concern is insurance.
Not likely. Brat isn't being built for RallyX. Maybe if it were REALLY close to Duluth, and the XT6 was not raceable, I might drive the Brat to the event.
No no, you don't have to rally it, you just have to drive it to the event so that we can sit around and look at it between runs... If you were rallying the XT6... I'll help ya out... maybe I could get dropped off and drive the Brat over to the track for ya. No need to thank me, always lookin to help out a fellow Suby lover.
So is there a good place to read up on Rally X rules and find information vehicle prep and classing? I recently picked up a bugeye and would love to get involved!

We unfortunately have been forced to cancel the first rallycross event that was scheduled for Sunday, March 17th. We were not able to find a venue that could guarantee there wouldn't be issues with deep snow. We do have a new venue secured for the event in April though, and we look forward to seeing everyone there! The original post has been updated to reflect this, and the venue changes. Unfortunately, we will not be holding an event with MAP's Proving Grounds due to logistics. Brian Chabot and Tim Anderson

What happend to Spring creek? Do we need more persuading because I know the owner and the area and it would be fun there
I'm still planning to contact them. For now, we have two venues locked down for this year. If things work out with them, we may use their site at least once this year instead of Hastings or Isanti. The April 13 Tax Brake Rallycross is a full go! Event thread will be posted up shortly and registration will be opened up!
We'll see how lil' Scrappy looks by then. I don't have confidence in mechanical condition yet. Let me know if you hear anyone looking for a co-driver.

The June date has been changed to the 16th instead of the 15th due to scheduling conflicts with the site. Exciting news!!! Our July 13th event will now be on the 14th as well and will be a two-day National Challenge! This means contigency prizes from Subaru, Volkswagen, and others!! Camping will be available on-site. More details to come!
Check out www.scca-racing.com under the rally cross section you should find a link to motorsports reg to register for the event there should also be more details there too. Also check out SCCA.com for the contingency info. As there is prize money for this race.

You may have to update it with the national club profile on motorsportsreg, no idea why, but that's what I had to do to get it to work.
You need an frs radio for when you work the course and call in cones. They can be had at best buy or target or I'm sure someone has one you can borrow.
