Makes me miss my 2011 wrx hatch. Excellent wheel choice, I had those in gold on my OBP. GLWS, but I will respectfully say that someone could get a new 2015 wrx for less than you are asking. It was a hard lesson for me, but you don't get any money back on your mods.
Is this a WRX Base, Premium or Limited? I'm curious as to how you arrived at your price, like Josh said you can get a new 2015 for less money than you're asking. Just because you sunk 37k into a rapidly depreciating asset doesn't mean you're going to get your money out of it. GLWS though.
No i know that, i set the price based off a few very clean cars same year and millage on ebay sold for 28500 and 29k yes you can buy a new 15 for the same money but you cant get a hatch. Car is cleaner then it came off the show room floor. If i dont get the asking price or close to ill part out and sell for around 26 seeing home many have sold in that same range when i was looking for a used one. I also dont need to sell it so theres no reason for me to give it away. Sold my last car for 4k over book value because of how clean and meticulous i was with it. The right buyer will apprechiate that. Thanks
Beat photo i have of them. Ill get some close ups on the car. Asking 28500. Going on craigs and ebay tonight.
1. He is a moderator, he can write whatever he likes where he likes, BS or otherwise. 2. It is not BS. He is asking a valid and simple question that in fact is only geared toward HELPING you sell your car. By not answering you only draw more scrutiny and suspicion. I see you've asked for the thread to be closed, good good.
Sorry Josh, I deleted a post after mine that he was referring to. His post was directed towards that one, not mine. I'm just trying to find out what trim level it is, because if he's trying to sell a base WRX for that kind of money, then I'd like whatever he's smoking.
What do you think the cars worth shorty? It is a base model but with that being said i went off market value off ebay to start. Yes i put a high price on the car to start. For the right offer id consider it. No i wont give the car away. Id rather buy a pickup and park the car for 3/4 of the year. Or part it out and sell it cheap. I know the car should bring 24500-25k with no issues. Thats what 13's were going for when i found mine. Thanks
Well, realistically you've got a car that's at least a year old and with over double the average number of miles driven a year. It probably didn't sticker for much over 26k, and you're going to take a realistic hit of 20% on a new car driving it off the lot. None of the mods you listed are really a "value adding" mod except for maybe the spare set of wheels/snow tires, and even then it's pretty limited as to what you'll get for them. I'd bet trade value on your car is 20k, dealer retail is probably around 24k. Maybe. The powertrain warranty is going to be a tough thing to maintain with your mods, and the tint is going to be good for some tickets to the future owner. 29500 will get someone into a used STI or a brand new WRX with money to spend on mods. I'm not sure how you put 37k into the car with your mod list, unless you financed it at sticker with no money down and you're upside down and then some. The fact you didn't disclose that it was a base in your initial post doesn't come off as the most honest of intentions. For what it's worth, it's pretty easy to tell yours is a base model without the fog lights. Not bagging on you, I'm just not sugarcoating this. 29.5k for that car is highway robbery. I wish you all the luck in the world, but nobody in their right mind is going to pay 5k+ above book value because it's "clean".
Granted there are people out there that didn't convert to the acquired taste of the new body and are paying higher for the GRB body since it is coveted by many, but yeah a bit high..
No i know where your comming from. I put a good chunk down on the car so im not upside down on it. Just saw a 11 base hatch go for 26 with similar mods and double the millage. I know its unrealistic but foe the right buyer sure theg had to have it. I wouldnt let the car go for less then 25500. So if someone on here would pay that. Id do that for mn subie members. Cars less then a year old got it in december last year. Was drive 80 miles a day for work so the miles add up. Thanks
Best bet is to sell it where there is not a bunch of people around with a good idea of what these cars are worth. Better chance of finding that "I just have to have this one" buyer
