Big question is will the Shelby outshine the z/28's laptime at Laguna?
Stay tuned for MotorTrend's Randy hot lap.

Nice! Looks like the best Mustang for the track yet. It will be interesting to see how it compares to both the Z28 and C7 and new Z06.

This is the first mustang I have ever really lusted after. I think I will own a GT350 at some point in the future.
It is what the new M3/M4 should have been IMO.
It will depend on the track and tires but I think the GT350R is already faster than the Z28 on the Nurburgring and this article says its faster than the 911 GT3 RS.

The Z07 package on the new Z06 is probably faster though. A lot more power but I have read a lot about the new Z06 heat soaking like a bitch so who knows.

Even the '15 GTs are super sexy, but holy damn does this take it to another level.

That's one sweet, spendy pony! The Voodoo engine is a neat piece of engineering...

Meh...had a '77 Cobra II...black w/ gold stripes, 302, 4-speed, HD suspension, AM radio, PS, PB (front disc), no A/C (lighter, better for track days), pleather interior (we used to call that $h!t "vinyl")...those were the days.
