ive been throwing around the idea of when my tax return come back, getting a 20g or fp green turbo for my 04 sti.. right now i have accessport, cobb catted dp, with a 3'' tbe.. i want to get some injectors ( what kind?) fuel pump and turbo above, what turbo would you guys recommend and what injectors. the car will most likely never see 1/4, but i do like power. also the car is never driven in the winter. anyone run water/meth on sti's in mn?

hope someone can help and im not to confusing, haha its 2:20 in the morning and im looking at turbos wooo hooo

20G will get you around 300whp on pump gas, the green should get you around 340whp on pump. Add another 50whp to both numbers for race gas. The green might spool a touch slower, but nothing to drastic. Ide go for the Perrin modified stock injectors or PE makes some 850's.

oh ya, ide get the green

    FP green.

It's what i'd get if I didn't autocross (stuck with stock turbo)

I've went back and forth between the two for a long time and came to the FP20G as my answer. I knew I'd want more power so I added meth. It's still in the shop right now though. I went with Nismo 740cc injectors and Walboro 255lph fuel pump.

The FP20G I went with has a 8cm hot side along with a 3" intake and 34mm flapper so I can stay with an interwaste gate.

this is my problem as well. cant decied. i think iam goign to go with the fp green. I would say go with the green you will be happy no doubt. plus it's not much more then the 20g, either way you go you will be in good shape for some decant power.

what about intercoolers? can i run the stock sti? i really dont want to put a fmic on just because of the fact hacking my bumper and car up on the front end. and i like the stock look, what hp could i see with an fp green, injectors, pump, and a good tune? thanks guys, and the fast responses were awesome !!

you could use the stock one but WOULDN"T EVEN come close to those numbers, at least i think so...... you wouldnt have to put on a FMIC you could just put on a bigger TMIC and get better throttle response, better flow, and more hp. but you might get a little more heat soack. Like Dream said you would likley see around 330-350whp. Tuneing is a big part of it all. i have a biiger top mount iam selling really good price. let me know if you want it. PM me :)

looks like you and me have the same question. I was debating whether or not to get an fp green or 20g. I've got everything needed to upgrade except the turbo itself. pe 850 cc injectors, new fuel rails(which you dont really need), and new pump. I'm still deciding whether i want to go with a bigger turbo or not. depends on what my protune on weds brings. I'm going to autocross a ton next summer and hit up the track alot so i dont want a turbo thats got a slow spool, even though these particular ones spool relativly fast for how big they are. I'm going to see what my stocker brings and go from there...

ok so here is what i kind of came up with for my car

    aps tmic
fpgreen 3'' inlet or 2.4 (is it worth the 3'' for tgv deletes?)
    tgv deletes (read above)
    walbro pump
    pe injectors

who will tune my accesport if i do this to my car?

And get in on the dyno day

the one thing i was concerned with was the tgv deletes, i can do them but ive heard some stuff about cold start issues? not that the car will be driven in the winter but does it run bad when cold?
