I guess I'll keep it short and sweet. I'm a dad. And scared to death. Lol. New mom had a long fight and she did amazing.

He'll be cruising with me before I know it!

Our first two are 12 months apart. Let me give you some unsolicited advice...margaritas are poor birth control. Congratulations.

    Congrats!
Everyone will tell you they grow up so fast.
I didn't believe them because everyday feels like a joy, but 4 years later and it felt like my son was born just last week.

Congrats, and don't be too scared. If you knew what to expect, you're doing parenthood wrong.

Hahaha, i'm not suprised at how long it took to respond! It's crazy how things go from 0-60 and you realise that you don't have nearly as much time as you used to! So worth it tho!!

The sleeplessness will end eventually, just have to tough it out. :) Good luck!!

Oh yes. Well, the past few weeks have been worse than normal. But we changed his formula and got him some medicine for acid reflux, to see if that might be a factor.
Mom goes back to work in 9 days. Then it's gonna be a whole new ballgame!

I'll see if i can get the name of the stuff that we used for acid reflux. It was dissolvable if you jut hold it down on his tongue for about 5-10 seconds.

    I'll report back! ;)

    Cool, man!

We got him something that was made at Walgreen's. It's a prescription and given to him with a medicine syringe twice a day. The wife took him to some expo this morning, and I haven't heard any bad things. Lol.
The true test will be at night. Hopefully he'll be able to sleep flat on his back.

Try "Gripe Water". You can get it at Target, Walgreens, etc. Works wonders. We had success with giving it to our daughter both before and after feedings.

It's hard to listen to them cry and scream and they can't tell you what's wrong! Tummy massages work well sometimes. You can also pump his legs up to his belly when he's on the floor/changing table. Push legs up, farts come out. LOL

Wife just sent me the pic. It's the "adult" version. We would just give her one a day. There is supposedly a Kids version also.

We tried the Gripe Water to no avail. The doctor said to just stick with the prescription for the weekend and keep up with the Similac Alimentum formula. It's supposed to be good for colicy babies.

Maybe sometime this week I'll look for those tablets.

It sounds like he's been really good so far today. Maybe it's a sign of good things.
