2nd annual fall dyno day-RS Motors Oct, 23rd

Its official Ron has agreed to host another dyno day just for us. Like last year I'm sure Ron and the guys would like an estimate on the number of people interested so we can finalize costs. It is normally $50 for 2-3 pulls if we can get a decent turnout. Food(BBQ maybe) and prizes are in the works too so please don't wait to the last second to decide if you are in or not.

Also, if any has any thoughts on planning or ideas about organizing,prizes etc...lemme know.

What about people who don't want their cars on the dyno, is it free, or lower price, for people who want to just come check it out?

^^^Yep definately free to hang out. Food(pizza)was free last year but I don't wanna promise anything as RS provided it. At worst maybe a couple bucks for something off the grill but these details are just starting to come together. As we get closer to a rough estimate on number of people I can lock down some more details.

dynoing for shiggles is highly recommended!

 

Saturday's are tough for me. How late will it go?

I say we make the cost approximately proportional to the power the car makes. If that's the case, my run would be very very cheap.

Saturday may be a problem for me tho - unless it goes later. I work until 4, so the soonest I could make it there would be 4:45 or so.

Glad to see some early interest! I think last year it went until 5ish maybe, it really depends on how many cars we can keep busy with. Nuke/Fuji? You guys gotta have a few things up your sleeves. Maybe we can get the Adrenalin Rush moblie to come show off a bit?

bump for more people! I'm making a sorta list (2nd post) of possible participants. If you want on the list just speak up, also if or when the maybes decide they're "in" feel free to say so. Don't be shy we had bunch of "newer" members last year and that was great. Completely stock cars are more than welcome to come get a baseline and to see where your car can go by seeing others results.

I will see what I have going on that weekend. It has been several years since I last dynoed my car. I know a decent amount has changed on my car since than. Still TD04 though ;-).

PS: will it cause any issue that I dont have front tow points? I know it was kind of shady when I dynoed at DB because of this.

 

We have never locked it on Fuji's car @ RS' mustang dyno.
But at MAP, we had to lock it.

Also, if the grill space is available, I could donate some BBQ'd chicken. As long as a certain car can warm up enough on the dyno. I might be able to drag my grill along. We'll see.

^^^It'll be a perfect chance to get a baseline. I think I've got the list somewhat updated. In a few days when we have a few more confimed/interested people I'll try to go over some more details with the guys at RS.

Just to clarify, I will not be on the dyno myself. I'm trying to talk Derek into it again. It jsut depends on how well we can get the new turbo to work.

Last year started @ 11am, there is no reason if you showed up early you couldn't get on early.

Last year it was 11 am or so. I would guess about the same time this year.
