The 15mm is the size of the mounting hole. 12mm are the stock size I believe and the both come in long or short. I made that mistake and ordered 15mm thinking they were the long ones and it was just a larger home size. Lol
Just like Starkall said: 12mm are stock hole size. 15mm is the larger hole. The length of how low your exhaust sits is same as stock. I was in the same boat as Starkall. Thought 15mm meant longer ones but longer ones are called XL (no specific number to indicate length). The ones I have are basically an upgrade from stock to avoid exhaust swinging, banging, rattling, or whatever problems you have with your stockers.
