312 Open to Hwy 41 in Chaska

Well it happened today, they opened 312 to Chaska. As someone who lives along the old 212 I can't be happier, maybe now I can get out of my nieghborhood.

I grew up in Chaska...getting out east was such a PITA...much much nicer now (I don't live in Chaska now, but coming from the East will be easy going)

Took a drive on the new road, WOW very cool. 65Mph speed limit whewww.

 

Drove it tonight myself, it is quite nice. Figured it would be 65 since it has been up to Dell Rd.

 

Excellent. I'll have to roll over and check it out.

I drove it the other night. Very nice. Once it makes it's way all the way down to old 212 it will REALLY cut down my travel time to Jordan.

 

EP cops ar the only cops I've encountered that would try to race insted of pulling me over....:laugh:

actually I've had many positive encounters with the EP police department and they have always been very nice to me. seriously....

 

its been a mixed bag for me, i have had a few decent experiences and some real crap ones

 

Chaska Police are really watching.

Watch yourself when your turning onto 41 south from 312 west. They sit on the right side of the road. The speed limit is 40mph.

I have also seen the Chaska boys sitting on 312 1 mile east of 41 on the right hand side.

The EP boys have been getting folks just as the speed changes to 55mph.

This will probably be the norm for the next 3 months or so.

 

agreed, and watch out for the undercover Durango, Explorer, Charger, F250 and Nitro. they hall ALL been patrolling it alot

 

F250 got me about 5 or 6 months agon in EP... Black, unmarked, with lights hidden behind his grill!

The guy driving it was super cool and didn't give me any problems! I was honest with him and gave him "yes, sir... sorry, sir..." and he was polite and told me if he caught me speedin through there again I'd get a ticket. Simple. Straight forward. That's how it should be... Wish it was always that way... :roll:

indeed, they are putting effort into it. the Nitro with chrome rims is the worst...first time i saw the cherries lite on that bad boy i almost pissed my pants. thank god i find about these coppers all the time. haha

 

It is indeed most good. Its just too bad that everyone is still incapable of going through Chan faster then friggen lolygagen at 40 so you hit every light.

 

I hate the EP cops Dave. Just like you hate the Edina cops.
