ive been fixing it to make it work i know its an overheating problem im just sick of fixing it all the time...maybe i'll sell that too its 3 red lights and it is fixable....shoot me an offer for the controllers and assassins creed.....80 bucks for 2 controllers w/ plug and play cable and assassins creed?? i think thats an awesome steal i just want this stuff goneeee
As far as I know, the "3 red rings" is still covered under warranty. I had mine replaced a few months ago, and I had originally purchased it on launch day.
mine was a refurbished one when i bought it so no warranty but there are plenty of guys on craiglist that will fix your xbox for ya...i just dont want it anymore....i willing to part at low prices
my Girlfriend's brother has a 360 and only 3 controllers.....I'll see what he's willing to pay for a 4th, and we can get it from ya while you're up here this weekend.

my ps3 crapped out on me...the hardware stopped reading discs, had to send it into sony and wait about a month to get mines back. btw, did u try the 360 towel trick!?:biggrin:

yeah it only works for a day or two...i took it apart and the thermal compound between the heat sinks and the processor was completely cooked so i cleaned it and put artic thermal compound on it then it worked for a week..

hahahahha well heres the deal im gettin rid of the xbox with one controller tonite or tomorrow morning that leaves one controller...soooo first come first serve basis....i think chux/blackzpremacy both will be in duluth this same weekend i am this weekend...so its goin to either one of those too.....25 dollars for controller and plug and play....i dont know how to decide who to give it too lol but chux i'll bring forza up with me so you can get that for sure
