3rd Rally Cross- Spring Fever MAY 15th

The folks at Raceway Park enjoyed us sooo much they have invited us back! Spring Fever, the 3rd event in the 2010 SCCA LOL Rally Cross Series will be held on Saturday May 15th.

I'd like to extend a huge congratulations & thank you to the Event Master- Amy Springer (ScandiaWRX on MNSubaru)

Food- Lunch will be provided by Raceway Park. Cash only.

Spectating- There will be a nominal entrance fee for spectators (Pay per car). Event workers & competitors will NOT pay any additional fees. Cash Only.

Competitor registration- All competitors are urged to register and pre-pay no later than 5PM on Friday May 14th.

If you need to register after 5PM you must do so in-person at the event. There will be a $10.00 fee to pay at the event. (above your competitor entrance fee)

Special note- We are capping the number of competitors to 50. So please pre-pay and pre-register.

Online preregistration is requested and strongly encouraged by 5PM on May 14th. ​

Fees:
SCCA Members: $40.00
Non-SCCA Members*:$55.00​

* Non-members are required to purchase an SCCA Weekend Membership for $15.00
(The weekend membership can be used as a $15 discount on a full SCCA membership).​

All competitors and spectators must sign the official SCCA Waiver of Liability.​

All minors present must have a minor waiver filled out. Form can be downloaded, printed in color and filled here: http://www.scca-lol.org/rally/rallyx/rxinfo.php​

Please download the registration and identification forms, and have
them filled out prior to the event if you don’t register online.​

All competitors MUST work the course as a condition of event entry.​

All competitors must have an FRS Radio, radios cannot be shared between competitors.​

All competitors must have a Snell/M 1995 or newer helmet. Loaner helmets are available but the quantity is limited.​

Passengers will be allowed if waivered and wearing an approved helmet.​

It is worth noting that you need to both register AND pay by the Friday 5:00 pm deadline or you will have to pay the late registration fee.

What does a nominal entrance fee for spectators mean?

 

I'm waiting for raceway park to respond. probably $5 per car load. spectators, not competitors or workers. They want to get some of their normal patrons out to watch us.

 

what about spectators that are with the competitors? i'm talking as in: rode with the competitor, not "i'm here with that guy (or girl)" or people that are meeting up in diff cars to, one to drive, and other to co drive?

keep us updated on that. i'm trying to get some people out to watch, but i've been telling them it's free to watch

 

If the person(s) have anything to do with the event (competition/course workers), regardless of how they get there, it's no cost.

If they just drive up to spectate....there will be a spectator fee.

If the person(s) that come with you are only there to spectate and NOT work the course..there will be a fee. Maybe these people you are referring to should be a course worker for at least one run group (read between the lines)

bottom line- they are trying to encourage the general public to come out and watch us. The fee is NOT being implemented to get US to pay more....it's geared more towards their typical crowd they get to come watch the other events that happen there. make sense?

 

FLP will most likely have a resurected car car at this event!!!!! its a car you have all seen before, and has done well before..... now in new hands........

 

..and I'm sure you'll be faster than the previous owner! lol

Wait I'm confused is there an extra $10 fee or is that only a late fee?

And I'm confused on that entrance fee how is that going to get more people to come lol? If I have a friend come watch that isn't sure if he wants to run his car or someone to come take pictures they can just work the corse one run and that will be ok or what?

Picked up my current snows about a year ago for $300. Almost brand-new Mastercraft Glacier II's. Remarkable handling for the price!

 

naw i ment for rallyxing. use them for the races and then use um up in the winter, last years get moved to the back. i think they were 73 ea from tire rack

Will be doing this Friday when I get paid. Also, will finally get a membership with the SCCA as well, since I got two pink slips and the extra monies to afford it.
