It's a love/hate thing for most car guys that have to keep within a budget. To bring you back down to earth, keep in mind, that the reason they had to film each curve separately and in slow motion, was because if you kept it in real time the video would have been 3 hours long as they likely had to replace the apex seals after each corner.
In a few of the shots where they slowed down the vid, they had different wheels on. Should of kept the same setup on. But this vid was pretty good but had nothing on the 240 driving through the woods.
I wonder how much that motor weighs after hanging an extra (2 extra?) rotor(s)? Figured it was Australian before opening the thread. Close enough.
That little? Those cast iron rotors are pretty damn heavy. Hell, the 302 is almost identical in weight as the 12a. I'd do an ls3 if I had the funds.
That's correct. I'm assuming they might have some lighter/stronger rotors. Also the 180kg is just the motor.
my old 12A turbo lasted well over 10yrs of abuse.. replacing apex seals every corner is like saying high powered Subarus in MN are reliable....
