So, once again I have a wiring question.

I have a light in my house with a 4-way switch and I am replacing that light with a fan that has wireless remotes mounted in the wall where a normal switch would go. I am usually pretty ok with wiring in a house, but in this case, I have no idea how to hook it up.

The switch that comes with the fan says to only hook it to the powered wires and the ground, not the white wire. Unfortunately, since I have a 4-way, I am not sure which is hot and which I should disregard at each switch. Anyone want to help out? :)

It should be up to code, I'm in a massive building that was just finished two years ago. I'll give that a whirl and see how it goes...

    glad i could help

also as a sanity check, run it full bore and go listen and smell any of the connections you made. if they are loose you will hear humming or crackling and smell "electric".
