4th Annual Fall Fun Runs *adding another date?* Its getting to that time of year where we can start enjoying the fall colors. For the last several years we have done the drive down to Wabasha and crossed over to Wisconsin and take some of the wonderful roads out there. This year will be much the same with a couple of different sections added to thrill all. This year I would like to do three weekends. Sunday Sept. 24th Sunday Oct. 8th Sunday Oct. 22nd Meet at Border Books (University/Hamline) We will be leaving at 9:00am sharp. Come with a full tank of gas and some munchies. There will be stops along the way about every hour. I am sure the 507 crowd will meet us at the first stop? You should expect to return to the cities between 4-6pm. Any questions? WOW I cant believe its already been 4yrs running. Thanks for putting up with us and making this happen every year, OB1. It's probably the single most likely club event you'll ever see me at. LOL
If I had tires that had any assemblance of tread left on them, I'd be down for this...but these have to last me till Spring Looks like I get to miss another round of fall runs.

Already have to back out. Didn't look at the calendar close enough. I have to go in the opposite direction that afternoon to Hickley and be there by 5:30 pm. Maybe another time. Have guys.
well, i may not be able to drive on the 24th being i got screwed on my clutch. So if my new clutch comes in before next weekend. i will drive if not i'll hitch a ride.
I just drove back to MN through WI, and the colors are great up near the border with MI. Once you get to mid-state, they're still a ways from peak, but that can change in just a week or two.
I spend most of the afternoon yesterday mapping out some new sections. There are some great sections added for this year!
According to weather.com a 30% chance of rain on the MN side and a 20% chance on the WI side. Guys/Gals... just chiming in from previous event experience. Rain or shine, this is going to happen. Please come prepared and no whining. I can't wait, got my camera, my radio and passenger diapers in hand
I think it would be just as exciting raining. Thats what awd is for right? I will be there this weekend. Is it the same drive every weekend?
aww man.....my clutch still isnt in yet....shiet.....sounds liek fun i guess i'll just be hitching a ride for this one and drive the next.
Yes the rain would be exciting and that is what AWD is for, but unfortuniately AWD does not compinsate for a defective pedal to steering wheel interface. Yes the route will be the same for all the drives.
Matt I'm believing a couple of us 507 area code types might be up for this Sunday (24th). Meet in Wabasha at the Quik Trip again??? What time? When you respond....please let us know whether you are using Twin Cities time or 507 area code time or whether there is some sort of +/- value associated witht the time you are quoting. Steve
Yup that will work just fine. They did a little remodeling LOL it's like twice the size now. As for the time, :laugh: You know how it is trying to get people to show up on time. There is not alote I can do with most of that. Last year I said 10:30? IIRC lets make it 11 this time?
I have obligations around 4PM, is there way to take off half-way? and how many miles is this? I'd like to meet some more of you guys/gals....
you can take off anytime you want i guess. we make frequent stops and that can be when you can leave.
