well as some of you know, I decided to breathe life back into the geo by purchasing a new short block, and re ring kit.

well, with the fresh engine I figure it wouldnt be a bad idea to fix the body a little and paint it. its a 200.00 car so I was willing to risk painting it by myself.

its not completely done but the 1st coat is on and im not dissapointed by any means.

Looks pretty good so far. My freind and I are in the process of painting his 77' chevy with black rustoleum. We're going the spray route tho. Thinned out about 60/40 it really lays down pretty smoothly.

Thats pretty good. The Geo we did up we used spray paint and I think it was around $100 in rattle cans.... but orange is a little more expensive than black iirc.

well, it looks OK I mean about as good as I had planned, the hood def needs to be replaced via upull.
I tried fixing the rust on it, and did but there are about 45000 little road chips in the paint that would require me to put a layer of mud on the entire hood.
I think going to upull and getting a 30 dollar hood wouldnt be a bad idea.

    now as far as plans:

    Get some honda 15''s
    Good tires.

    AUTOCROSS

also, this will be my DD (50 miles round trip for work 50mpg FTW)

that is, until I get the legacy up and running. but thats top secret.... ;)

I was peen inches from getting it, and since it was in superior or something I wanted more pics, needless to say she neglected to tell me the car was sideswiped and in a front end crash (minor)

anyways, I will just keep it classy in the leggy for now

Should bring the Metro to a rallyx. They do surprisingly well with the short wheelbase and light weight.

    looks good man.

You get that paint at Mound True Value?

If so, and you're getting more ****, let bruce and patti know I say hi. Or just say 'what up' to TJ for me, and tell him Jack still thinks he can run that store better than bruce. ha.
