^ :laugh: Some great shots you got there... some of my GC too :biggthumpup: I shoulda brought a camera too. Hindsight is always 20/20. It was cool to see everyone pull together and help out the little oopsie we had. We were back up and running in no time. Even the audi guys stopped by to offer a hand but we didn't really need it. Great bunch of people in both groups.
That DB7 distracted me . It's ok though, no damage done. I've been on 2 no 1 other Fall Fun runs without incident before.

i think you all have a strange definition of slow..my avg. speed was 80 today not to mention when i stopped to pee and had to catch up i did well over 100 on xx...so ya'll can keep the slow lane.
For a second that red Audi 2 door look like a 1st gen all trac, then I realized what it was and got disappointed.

80?? the run I went on last year, we were easily at an average of 90+ Looks like fun, doesn't look like the weather was much of an issue considering it was raining in CG before 2. I made a similar run with a few Z guys on Sat and the weather was perfect. By noon, a lot of cars and bikes were on the roads. Better to hear about no incidents, but a minor spin out in the ditch isn't too bad.
When the group split up after the Kwik Trip stop, we were eight cars strong and the speeds picked up a little bit. With a huge group, it's hard to spread out enough to give you and the drivers in front and behind you enough room. I thought the speeds were ideal for my first time and for pretty much stock suspension except for springs. Got loose around a couple corners, but nothing major. Wish I would have taken advantage of the e-brake corner...damn it!!
not a very good idea about the ebrake. Only if you have an sti its fine. With wrx's its bad for the rear diff.
Never pull it when you are in gear, i guess you can if you are off the gear or in neutral, but that really puts a lot of stress on the diff.
Hehe I was two cars behind KSAL last year when he spun out. That was a little freaky seeing we were going at about 50-60ish if I remember correctly. Glad everything is alright though :biggrin:
Holly cow! Did you pull the e-brake or just going to fast? I know videos make it look like you are going at lot slower then you really are..I think you are lucky it was just dirt
Wow, that's awesome, someone actually caught it on video. Or the start of it anyway. IIRC, we were definitely going quite fast. That video made it look almost slow.
I don't think i was going all that fast, started slowing down when everyone had hazards on due to cars approaching. I'd guess i was only going 40mph tops. Couldn't slow down more once i hit the gravel.
