Well...it's been 5 years, and today I'm THANKFUL for Mother Nature in giving me a shot at this NICE 12-point buck. Weapon used was a COMPOUND BOW. This buck was taken on THANKSGIVING morning of '01.

For those who are offended, please refrain for posting and carry on to the next thread. Everyone has a mind and world of his/her own and I respect you guys/gals as much as everyone else.

Pssh...Bow hunting. You want to impress me? Sneak up on it and take it down barehanded. Now that's balls....

    Just kidding. Nice shooting :)

hey fuji we should meet down on normandale ave sometime and shoot up some targets! I'll be heading out west to nab my buck a little later in the season probably, but I want to get some targets in before. Theres nothing like missing a trophy buck because you havent practiced!

I'll be using a mathews ultralite this year

I'd love to! Only thing is, I sold my Mathews MQ32 to my brother's bro-in-law. I've had my Mathews since I was 13-going-14. SO I've had it for 7yrs now. Replaced the limbs last year because they split. I MIGHT get a Mathews Black MAX 2 for next season if I plan on hunting....I just MIGHT because I wanna hunt the Camp Ripley lottery hunt. I did go up there during the FIRST WEEK hunt for Camp Ripley. I shot my bow only 3 times before the season started and got to shoot 3 arrows up there on my FIRST morning this season.
I only got to go out 2 times and that was up there at Camp Ripley.

I'm thinking I might have to go out to Bayport with my Dad's SQ2 the next days I'm off work because I still have my archery tag.

So you're going out west? :O:O:O which part?
