I'm not going to ever max out my stock MAF so this is no longer needed. I originally bought this as the first step in moving towards an fp green -- get the MAF curve for it dialed in before throwing in huge injectors and then the turbo. For a stock turbo, this is not needed.
that guy deals with the goddamn customers so the engineers (or actuaries in my case) don't have to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell is wrong with you people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You wouldn't need it until you got a giant turbo anyway. You should work on figuring out how to get a LGT or '08 WRX airbox to fit it your car instead. Those are 70mm, according to Wall of TV's.
The APS will still have much more maf voltage headroom after comparing my scaling to the stock LGT one. I can provide my maf scaling to whoever buys this -- it's just about spot on.
Interesting. Is the MAF sensor the same in Mrs. Froman's LGT as it is yours? No tuning required, then. Just a quick reflash.
It's due to how the air flows across the sensor differently. This is just based on my estimating calculations in Excel. The APS maf curve is much more "curved" -- ie, it has a higher power exponential function.
Still for sale bump. I can provide my MAF scaling (and translate it over to whatever ecu) to whoever buys it now that I've got my laptop back up and running.
man..where were you two weeks ago..??...i bought brand new for $305..'shakes head'...bump for awesomeness...
