I really doubt this is possible. Look at 0-60 and 1/4 mile time. I think they meant 9.8 minutes? And what do you guys think a bout this "racing" ecotec 2.2 with single tiny turbo putting out 1400+ hp. I call BS on both of them.
I dont know its just does not sound right. I mean its a 2.2 liter engine and the turbo looked small. they didnt even had a real car with an engine like that. all they had was a fake plastic copy of one.
As much as I dislike chevy's new crap MDS and all, why do you have to be a hater, not all imports are good and not all domestics are bad. look at the RPM numbers for the Ecotech, I would call power made that high unusable, kinda funny though since most chevys used to have 5000 RPM red lines.
that car is supercharged. and its slow. i had a class with him at normandale and its a complete POS the motor is built decently but everything else on the car is tacky and done awfully wrong.
Unless that Olds has been stripped down to weigh 800 pounds (total) 365 Hp isn't going to give you a 1/4 mile time of under 10 seconds. The Ecotech numbers I can believe, that engine has been build for drag racing in several applications. Check out the "Cobalt" NHRA car, it has an Ecotech block and I think was pushing more power than the one posted.
And yeah, 5.8 sec 0-60....and 9.7 in the quarter? So, from 60-130+ takes him 4seconds. That is AWESOME. oops, I meant: That is UNLIKELY! Also, probably impossible.
You go 88 miles per hour, but since you are traveling back in time a little after the 1/8 mile mark you can get to the 1/4 in 9.8 seconds.:laugh::laugh:
Its 1.21 jiggawatts. sheesh ittyfool: ECOTECs are pretty sweet. They pretty much p0wn the sport compact drag world, AFAIK. I want a Sky with that motor detuned to only 8-900hp.
pretty much. Those show guys seem to live in their own little world and seem to think it's cool to make their cars as gawdy as possible. Kind of like middle aged housewifes in New Jersey.
