Upper engine noise. Piston/Pin/Ringland type noise. Was my sisters. First $100 (or best offer). Still runs well, just makes some noise.

Hey todd, I'm very interested in coming to look at it, I'll be in the cities for part of Saturday, and most of Sunday. Send me an e-mail at numbchux (at) juno.com with a good time/place to meet, or a phone number or something so we can meet up!
sorry, i've been having some pc issues... some rust but not rusted out (?) runs good, just the worrisome knock. you could drive it home. i have the title and keys in my hand.
hey, todd, we're going to stop by tomorrow afternoon on our way into town, and take a peek. If you're up there before then, maybe pop the hood, don't make a seperate trip, but if you're there, and have a minute. And I'll be in touch over the weekend, I'd still like to drive it if it works out.
The hood release is poking through the grill. I need to get it out of there... this week end (says the boss).
well, we didn't get a chance today. Had some trouble getting out of duluth this morning. well, a decision probably won't be made this weekend, though we're still quite interested. and should have some time tomorrow, we'll try again, and be in touch.
crap, didn't get a chance again today. hmm....had to head back up early cuz of the weather, ended up being a 4+ hour trip! I haven't a clue when we'll be back again, and I'd like to drive it before we send someone to buy it...don't wait up, but if it's still for sale the next time I'm in town, I'll be in touch.

The windsheild is good. I cant remember if the front axel click a bit or not. I know the boots are not torn open. Come on, somebody come get this or I need to junk it...

Wasting a SAT afternoon and the whole day SUN towing home a "free" Subaru Loyale? Priceless! It's in my garage and I've already began stripping it. I went to get it SAT afternoon. My brother dropped me off and said GOOD LUCK! LOL I made it as far as 35/36 street exit off 35W before I lost all oil pressure. Stalled a few times there in uptown after I pulled off the freeway. Had to park it and come back with a tow dolly. Gonna cost me $45 to have Viking Autosalvage come take it away when I'm done. All said and done I should have several hundred dollars in parts for $125. Never heard a Subaru knock like this! Would have to say a connecting rod seperated from a piston/wrist pin. Sounded like a jackhammer under the hood [xx(]
