Engine was running great when it came out of my 96 outback wagon. Has approx 130,000 miles on it. Includes intake and throttle body, injectors, wireing harness, and some brackets and belt tensioners. Missing the right timing belt cover. I replaced the engine in my outback shortly after purchasing it because of a loud ticking in the left side of the engine. After installing a different engine with only 37,000 miles I started it up only to hear the "EXACT SAME NOISE" from the "EXACT SAME PLACE" on the engine. Further research led me to bleeding the lifters and the noise was gone. I then took the valve cover off of the old engine only to find the same flat lifters. I could have fixed my problem for teh cost of a valve cover gasket. Oh well. Located in Maple Grove, MN. Call me if interested. $450.00 Steve 763-229-3339
I can't believe Subaru put a 2.2L into the '96 Outbacks..... booOO Then a 2.5L into the '97s. lolz makes for a good turbo project. OR replacement engine.
