A good friend of mine from the Ultimate Subaru club who lives in Des Moines is selling this:

since it's a '97 running OBD1, if you live where they run emissions tests, you need not apply

Yakima basket does not go with it....

Previous owner rebuilt it, and did the engine build/wiring.

Engine Build:

ej22t crank & rods
ej25 (NA) block halves.
ej25 DOHC heads ('96 with HLAs)
newer EJ25 flat top pistons
ej20g intake manifold with 440cc injectors
vf8 turbo (ej20g)
ej22t exhaust, with new catless 3" bellmouth downpipe
ej22t fuel pump
2002 WRX top mount IC with custom IC y-pipe
TurboXS adjustable bypass valve
ej22t ECU & wiring harness. original ej25 harness/ECU is gone, and the ej22t ECU sits in it's place, and is all wired in, and I can check code like normal (ej22t way)
AC was removed, but I have all the parts to rebuild it. (see below)

comes in around 2.4 liters with around 8:1 compression ratio

has Oil Pressure, Boost, and EGT guages.

5 speed, 4.11 gears with LSD in Rear.

This is what I've done since I got it....
New Bypass Valve
New downpipe
New O2 sensor
Replaced Air Bag clock spring assembly in steering wheel
New EGT probe
New FI Temp Sensor
New Knock Sensor
New NGK Iridium Plugs
New OEM plug wires
New fuel filter

AC parts are all removed, but I purchased a complete AC set-up from firewall forward(used) and it will go with it.

Issues:
Clean Iowa Title, but revious WA rebuild. Multi Color. Rear hatch seals, but not a perfect fit.
Windshield Cracked
Window tint too dark on front side windows for Iowa
Has some jerkiness off boost due to ECU and bigger components.
Has a sedan windshield washer reservoir, so washer on rear hatch does not work.
Noise in front. It's either the wheel bearings, axle or front diff side bearings.
tires good for summer driving.
