97 legacy wiper probs

    So my windshield wipers are kinda strange. They don't complete their pass. Only go about half way up the window and go back down to park.

    Looked at the transmission as I had them running and it seemed like nothing was binding up or in the way. Motor looks to be working properly as well.

    Anyone else have issues like this?

    It might be the bushings in the linkage.

    Does it happen in all settings(low, high, int)? Did it just start happening(not after a recent repair(windshield))?

    Happens in all modes. And I just bought the car a week ago. They were like that when I bought it.
