okay this is off topic so hopefully i don't get flame... the guys i'm chilling with all drive swap and turbocharged civics...i'm the only subaru/awd/na >_< one of the guys that had a reallie fast CRX...said that with header, clutch, and exhaust? just 3 things...can't remember the last thing he said...he said that if i had that i will be able to run 12-13secs with my 982.5RS...and then i asked a buddy of mine up there and he said the car won't even run that fast...
I think the 3rd thing your buddy told you that you can't remember must have been a 666 shot of nitrous.
I think what he was forgetting was drivetrain loss. Yeah you'll get a good launch over 2WD cars but then once you're past that they can catch up pretty quick if you don't have much top end.
I hold my ground on a SRT4 and he passes me at 60mph, he's probably going 70-75mph then....makes him think, wagon is beast. It's just fun to see the reaction of people when I take them off the line up to 50mph....
the only car that has ever beat me off the line is petes RS but usually i take him off the line (then he blows by me at about 40-50)
