As the title. Some of you have seen the car. I had planned on getting an Evo RS as a daily driver and keeping this car as my "fun" car but those f'ers at my work cut the pay raise I was supposed to get for my promotion by obscene amounts. As such I cannot afford two vehicles anymore

1999 2.5 RS Midnight Black Pearl coupe
    88k miles, Mobil 1 every 10k
Minnam turbo kit (the original) @5psi
    Haltech E6K engine management
    JC Sports custom TMIC
    Mavtech 3" stainless turbo back
KYB/AGX struts with Eibach ProKit springs
    JC Sports front strut brace
    STi 20mm rear sway
STi 4-pot front brakes with cyro-treated, slotted rotors
    ACT Street clutch
STi heavy duty engine and transmission mounts
OEM 5-spoke alloy wheels with Yokohama AVS S2 all-seasons

    A few caveats though:
The car needs to be dyno tuned still. It is running a bit rich and the timing has been pulled just to be safe. It's hard to start in really cold weather (like below 0°F) but it has a block heater and I've had no troubles with it since. It is also burning coolant at a very small pace so whoever buys it will want to change out the head gaskets sometime this year just to be safe. If nobody wants it like this then I'm adding $2k to the price and you won't have the opportunity to do any of the other projects that need doing on the block such as replace the clutch (it's still great, but if you've got the engine out then you may as well do the clutch), put the oil tap in for the sender for the oil pressure gauge, and maybe retap for the Haltech's coolant sensor so that you can put the Subaru sender back in for the dummy gauge on the dash. All these things I can explain in further detail if you're a serious buyer.

    EDIT 8/3
If you have a serious offer and can have the cash by 8/4 around 6pm please email me otherwise the car goes to the stealership. They can't offer me much due to some EPA issues with dealerships and my catless exhaust, so if you have the funds and act quick you can have a great project or rally car to play with. Email me serious offers by 6pm on 8/4 to [email protected]

Can't really part it out when there's nothing stock left to replace it with, and I'm certainly not going through the trouble of trading folks for their stock pieces and doing the labor to put them back in. I just saw a MY00 with 85k miles on it go for over $10k on Autotrader. Difference is mine has over 85k trouble-free miles with this setup. And that's just another reason not to part it out.

Now with that being said I would appreciate bumps or positive comments toward the thread. It's painful enough I have to sell the thing without jealous WRX owners messing with my thread ;)

I love your car, it's really too bad you have to sell it. I'm looking for some 4-pots but I totally understand the whole parting out thing. It's a pain in the ass. Good luck selling it :D

Bump for price reduction to $8500. Dealership actually offered a surprisingly fair amount for trade-in so get it while it lasts, a trade-in would actually save me more in taxes.

Just added a cat section. I wonder what they marked it up to. Last I heard there were two local rally teams eyeing it up. I was kinda hoping they'd make a good home for it. I'd love nothing more than to see it out on the rally circuit.
