Hi all, I thought I would introduce myself. I picked up the Legacy L that 99ImprezaL was working on. I have big plans for the car and am already significantly into the tear down process. My end goal is something similar to this. I will be starting a Member's journal as I make a bit more progress. I will also be getting rid of a few parts that I won't need for the final build. Keep an eye out for a few FS threads. My initial goals include: Strip interior (just dash and sound deadening left) Fix rust spots on rear quarters Convert rear drums to disc Coilovers Big brake kit Pull engine Cage Prep and paint The sole purpose of the car is autocross and time trials. With handling, stability and reliability weighing more than sheer horsepower. I've been reading a ton, while this is my first Subaru, I've spent many days under the hood of both my old Viggen and my current 9-3 DD. I've appreciated the amount of knowledge I have gleaned already off this board and look forward to your camaraderie going forward.
