A/C Tensioner Pully BLOWS UP!

    So I was driving from Minneapolis to Atlanta today and right around 4am in the middle of dogpile, IL I hear some ungodly zombie death scream coming from my engine bay suddenly followed by silence.


    My A/C Tensioner expoloded. EJ205 from a 2002 WRX, is there a TSB on this crap or does jesus hate me?

    ive seen it happen before, i think the older pulleys were steel. but the same design

    wow. thats interesting. i bet ya (just a guess here) that the ac tensioner pulley is the same for all ej motors. coulhd hit up a junk yard and save $40 or so.

    yep the same thing has happened to my 02 wrx iam getting it fixed as we speak.
